We collect, store and display the history of our village.
Meetings are held monthly (except Aug & Dec) at The King’s Arms Public House at 7.30pm. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Each year we hold a 4 day exhibition in the village hall to show the interesting people and buildings that make up the village history.

2010 EXHIBITION
STEP BACK IN TIME

BELLS and BYWAYS.
Saturday 17th July to Tuesday 20th July
from 10am daily
in CLAVERLEY VILLAGE HALL

Some of the main areas that will be displayed in the exhibition through photos, stories and memorabilia are:
Claverley’s bells and bell ringers.
The Graveyard Project (mapping and memorial inscriptions) has turned up some strange and interesting stories about the lives of the people buried there.
Soldiers and Seamen of earliest times to WW1 their travels lives and families.
Stories of people who have left the village and emigrated, some as far as America and New Zealand.
Much, much more about the village and the people who lived there, so watch this space!!!!!!
There will be people available at the exhibition to answer any queries about family history and/or house history.
Please come and see if you can stump our researchers.
